Life In The Sky

The sky kneels down to ocean dip

My breath stinks of rank eels

Ground flies by, rises to flip

Square lakes to high heels

Courageous ignorance

Claims nothing’s amiss

Suspending inference

Peaks national bliss

My home’s six feet under

I need learn to swim

My work’s wrecked asunder

With insurance I win win

The gift of forgetting

Is what I forgot

Reality I’m betting

Is really what’s not

I’ve cash for a new home

Glass orbital in the sky

So safe to live alone

Life’s fun when you’re so high
