Atop stardust clouds I stand
Deep dive onto my great fish
Bounce past our queer green sun
Old Time’s sole demand
Fulfill the fish’s quantum wish
Ride it a full solar run
Yet to ride the planets I must turn horseman
Human type, with bowlegged stance
My horse confessed of all its sins
Become to comets a kindly kinsman
Vaulting celestials with half a glance
Stuffing their offal in vacuum bins
In this new body I grip my ride
My star kissed mount forged of white dwarfs
Jupiter ascends as Pluto sleeps
My sinless equine puffed with pride
Its feral power more god than horse
Tossing its rider, a flea that weeps
We ride – surf the swells love stacks between suns
Our passage a black magic unicorn
Our speed bewitched, a toad slower than light
The fish in my pocket fed cosmic ray crumbs
Our shockwave played on light weaved horns
The pointed music piercing galactic heights
Riding, riding, riding, bounding off rogue moons
I join together matter and space
Burn consciousness to refiner’s fire
But my fish twists thoughts to gauze balloons
It knows the ride is infinite, a punisher’s pace
We cannot but go on, gallop higher and higher
For this ride, this space, old time, has no end
